Stay Safe & Continue Your Practice at Home
As many studios have had to do, I have closed my physical studio and I am teaching online. In addition, I am also doing some private one on one work for those students who are interested. I would love to chat and answer any questions that you may have. My morning classes are less challenging, and a nice way to start your practice, especially if you have been away from it for a little while.
I was a classroom teacher for 17 years so you can feel confident that the instruction you are getting is careful and of a high quality. Positions will be broken down and explained in terms of what you should feel physically and modifications will be given as needed. Please feel free to message me before class if you feel I should know about any pre-existing conditions that will impede your practice.
On Tuesday night there is a Yoga and Fitness class which utilizes bands and light weights for a well rounded workout. On Monday nights at 6:30 pm there is a new Yoga Wheel class which will incorporate the yoga wheel to improve flexibility throughout your body and challenge your balance and stability. For more advanced practitioners, there are classes that feature inversion work and arm balances. On Sundays at 10:30 am the Advanced Yoga class will take you through all of the preparatory poses and extensive drills to prepare your body for more advanced transitions and yoga poses. Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm also offer the advanced practitioner a well prepared class in order to take your practice to the next level. Students who take the advanced classes should be comfortable with basic inversions.
